Return & Exchange Policy

At Cloth Made Different, every piece is handmade and one of a kind. Because our garments are created from reclaimed, vintage, and previously existing textiles, each item is unique and may have natural variations, imperfections, signs of wear, or other characteristics that reflect the history of the original material.

Please read the product description, measurements, and sizing information carefully before purchasing.

All Sales Are Final

Due to the one-of-one nature of our garments, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for:

• Change of mind
• Incorrect size selection
• Fit or style preferences
• Color or pattern preferences
• Items that look different than expected based on your personal screen settings
• Normal characteristics or imperfections of reclaimed, vintage, or upcycled materials
• Failure to read the product description, measurements, or sizing information before purchasing

Because each garment is unique, we are unable to offer exchanges for another size or replacement item.

Reclaimed & Vintage Materials

Many Cloth Made Different pieces are made using reclaimed textiles such as blankets, quilts, towels, tapestries, and vintage fabrics.

These materials may contain characteristics such as:

• Minor fading or discoloration
• Small marks or stains
• Variations in texture
• Minor fraying
• Previous stitching or repairs
• Small imperfections
• Signs of age or previous use

These characteristics are part of the material's history and are not considered defects when reasonably disclosed in the product listing.

We make every effort to photograph and describe notable imperfections before an item is sold.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

We carefully inspect each item before it is shipped.

If your order arrives damaged due to shipping, materially different from the item shown or described in the listing, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at clothmadedifferent@gmail.com.

Please include:

• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Clear photographs of the item
• Photographs of the packaging if the package arrived damaged

Please do not return an item without contacting us first. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

If we determine that the item was damaged before delivery, materially misrepresented, or incorrectly shipped, we will work with you to determine an appropriate resolution.

Shipping Damage

If your package appears damaged when delivered, please photograph the package and its contents as soon as possible.

Cloth Made Different is not responsible for damage caused by the shipping carrier after the package has been shipped. However, we will work with you to provide any information or documentation reasonably needed to assist with a shipping claim.

Sizing

Because our garments are handmade and often constructed from reclaimed textiles, sizing and fit may vary between pieces.

Please use the measurements provided on each product listing rather than relying solely on the listed size.

We strongly recommend comparing the listed measurements with a garment you already own before purchasing.

We do not accept returns or exchanges due to sizing or fit.

Order Cancellations

Because our pieces are limited and one of a kind, orders may enter processing shortly after purchase.

If you need to request a cancellation, contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation requests are not guaranteed and may not be possible once an order has entered processing or shipping.

Refunds

Refunds are only issued when Cloth Made Different determines that a refund is appropriate under the circumstances described in this policy or where required by applicable law.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
